“China Venture Capital Forum——Investment Summit for Revitalizing Northeast China 2008” was convened in Shenyang on September 19th. Vice Minister DU Zhanyuan and Mr. ZHANG Jing’an, Chief of Science and Technology Daily, attended the Summit.

With the theme of “optimizing environment for venture capital and promoting revitalization of Northeast China", this Summit showcased the mix of S&T with finance. It also provided a platform for seminars, discussion, exchanges and training so as to establish VC and indigenous innovation system in Northeast China, accelerate hi-tech industry, and boost the rejuvenation of the old industrial base in Northeast China.
